  • Can you imagine the chaos that would have started if American soldiers wanted home after a year of fighting in Europe or the Pacific?? Most stayed and fought the good fight day to day for 2-3 and in some cases 4 years without seeing home.

  • Notice the stock market is just like the "battery bunny". It just keeps going and going up. ? What for? The housing Market and many, many associated industries are in shambles with still millions out of work.

  • Pray !!! Between inflation and deflation, the next couple years will see more and more suffering in the housing market. Expect no recovery for a minimum of 5 years, others say 5-10 years. With little new homes being built, the economy will trickle along and not help in the least.

  • Well, how about the revolting situation.... We taxpayers are "billed" 100s of millions in security costs at airports with the TSA people, guards, fences, etc. etc. etc. We still need to divert an aircraft on the basis of a "note" found in a toilet.

  • How about we give Shell a shot at finding oil, rather than us importing oil and further screwing up our economy with high gas prices. They seem to have done their homework. Enough of this tight gov. controls that further puts we Americans in a deeper financial hole. I'm for saving whales, etc.

  • Again, the stupidity of our foreign politics bubbles to the surface. We gave Pakistan just a couple of months ago about 1/2 billion to come to terms with the Afgan government. Very nice move. Maybe some of that money went to a certain "compound" we just invaded???? The Pakistan gov.
